Lane has been grooming dogs and cats for 15 years. She is an all-breed groomer with expertise in Spaniels and Terriers and, since she is an obedience trainer, she also specializes in dogs with behavior problems, first-time and puppy grooms. This expertise can really help a dog who may have had a bad experience with other groomers. Since she is also a veterinary technician, she can often spot beginning medical problems and refer you to your veterinarian before they become big ones.

We are happy to groom any dog who boards with us upon request, and may also require a dog to be groomed in order to keep our house clean and Dan (the housekeeper) happy!

 

 

When Lane bathes a dog she also:

 

* Trims nails

* Cleans ears (and plucks if necessary)

*Expresses anal glands

* Checks teeth and ears for possible infections

* Checks for lumps, bumps or skin irritation, including fleas and ticks

* Power dries in order to blow off unshed hair - Labradors really benefit from this!

* These services are all included in our bathing fee

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Grooming - includes clipper and/or scissor cutting, patterning and shaping according to your dog's breed, and all services included above in bathing. Rates depend on length of coat, owner maintenance, amount of shedding and dog's behavior (See "Rates")
